Permissions for viewing and importing reports

The table describes access permissions that are required for viewing and importing reports from the content store.

Table 1. Permission requirements to view and import reports
Goal	Permissions
View a report or a report output version, including reports in the result set of a search.	Execute and Traverse
View the folder or package that contains the report.	Traverse
Import a report version with the most recent content changes. Note: The Select a specific output version check box in the Import wizard is disabled. For data sources, connections, and signons, retrieve data from a data provider. Users cannot read the database information directly. The report server can access the database information on their behalf to process a request.	Read and Execute
Import a report from a saved report output version.	Read and Traverse
