Limiting the number of concurrent Content Manager requests in the same user session

A new Content Manager advanced setting, CM.MAXSESSIONREQUESTS, allows the administrator to limit the number of concurrent requests that can be made during the same user session.

Under certain conditions, a large number of concurrent requests from the same user session can result in Content Manager being overloaded and system performance to degrade significantly. By enabling the CM.MAXSESSIONREQUESTS setting, you can mitigate performance slowdowns. The new setting allows same-session requests to be queued at the gate so that they don't consume any processing resources. As a result, the load on the system is reduced.
