You can specify how lines display missing values in line visualizations and line and
column visualizations.
About this task
This customization applies to all lines in a line visualization or a line and column
visualization
Procedure

Click the line visualization or line and column visualization that contains null values.

Click the Properties icon

If you don't see the
Properties icon, click the
Switch to
edit icon

In the Visualization tab, under Chart, click the
Null values handing dropdown and select one of the following values:
- Interpolate
- The line displays an interpolated value based on adjacent data points. This is the default
selection.
- Show as gaps
- The line displays a gap between the adjacent data points.
- Show as zero
- The line displays missing values as zero.
