General troubleshooting

This section describes and provides solutions for some of the general issues that you may come across when using IBM® Cognos® Analytics for Mobile.

Why are some of my pins missing?
Certain types of pins may be hidden by default.
Boards are not working as expected
Board features such as rename, notifications, and sharing are not working as expected.
Unsupported filter conditions
You might experience issues with pinning a visualization if the visualization contains unsupported filter conditions that are applied to the visualization.
Visualizations are not loading
You may see a network error when opening a visualization.
User permission changes are not being reflected in the application
If an administrator has changed a user's permissions, the changes may not be reflected in the IBM Cognos Analytics for Mobile application.
Unable to create a new schedule
You may see an error when creating a new schedule.
Error message when opening a dashboard
You may see an error when opening a dashboard.
The .pinboard folder is visible to users
Users may be able to see the .pinboard folder.
Running diagnostic tests
Running diagnostic tests in IBM Cognos Analytics for Mobile is easy and can help you identify issues if you're not receiving certain types of notifications.
