You can insert a background image for objects
in a report. For example, use a background image to add a watermark
to a page.
You
can also create your own background visual effects, such as drop shadows
and gradient fills. For more information, see Add background effects.
Before you begin
The images that you insert must first be uploaded to the IBM®
Cognos® Analytics with Watson server or another Web server and must be .gif or .jpg
format.
Procedure
- Select the object.
- In the Properties pane, under Color &
Background, double-click the Background Image property.
- To use the background from the default style for the object
(Cascading Style Sheet (CSS) class), click Default.

This option overrides any default background images including
background gradients on objects that appear in the 10.x report styles.

To insert a specific image, click Specified, and then do one of the
following:
-

images.
