Customizing lines and data points in a line chart
You can customize the lines in a line chart to show only
lines, only data points, or both. Data points represent series values
for each category on the Y-axis. You can show special data markers
that represent statistically significant values, such as open, high,
low, and close values.
You can also add markers at other positions on the chart. For more information, see Add a Marker to a chart.
You can also change the path of the line that connects the data points to one of the following:
- Point to Point shows data points connected by straight lines.
- Step at Point shows data points connected by steps that start and end at the data points.
- Step Between Points shows data points connected by steps that start and end between the data points.
- Smooth shows data points connected by smooth curves.
