Legend

A legend is a key to the patterns or colors that are assigned to the data series or categories in a visualization.

The legend appears, by default at the top of the visualization, and has a compact size.

If there are too many items in the legend to be displayed an ellipsis is displayed.

You can change the properties for legends, such as the background color, size, position, font, and so on.

  1. Click the visualization and click Properties.
  2. In the Properties pane, scroll to the Legend section and select the required values.
  3. Click Properties to close the Properties pane.
You can also resize the legend for a visualization by dragging the splitter which appears when you hover over the legend.
