Installing the Image service

IBM® Cognos® Analytics with Watson includes a version of the Image service that is available within the Cognos installer.

Installing the Image service on Linux
You can install the Image service either on the same computer or on a different computer from where Cognos Analytics is installed.

You can install the Image service either on the same computer or on a different computer from where Cognos Analytics is installed.
Configuring the Image service
You can change the default settings in the Image service by editing the config.conf file and by updating Cognos Configuration.
Securing the Image service
You can secure your Image service installation with SSL encryption using SSL certificates.
Troubleshooting the Image service
To troubleshoot issues with the Image service, you can use this Docker command: docker logs container_id
