Set the no value list item to show a specific
item in a control when no value is selected.
For example,
a report contains a drop-down list control that contains product lines.
You create a no value list item named (All) to show all product lines
when the report is initially viewed.
Procedure
- Select the control.

Click the Show properties icon , and for the No Value List Item property, click Show.
A text item representing the no value list item appears in the control.

In the Properties pane for the no value list item, double-click the Label property.
- In the Default text box, type the
name of the no value list item.
- To specify the text for other languages, do the following:
- Click the add button .
- Select the languages that you want.
- In the Language column, click one of the
languages that you selected.
- Click the edit button
and type the name of the no value list item for that language.
- Repeat for all remaining languages.

In the Properties pane for the no value list item, click the Position in List property and specify where you want the no value list item to appear in the control.
