Support for Microsoft OLE DB Driver for SQL Server

Cognos Analytics supports connections to an MS SQL Server database using the Microsoft OLE DB Driver for SQL Server (MSOLEDBSQL).

In the Administration console, when you click Data Source Connections > New Data Source, enter a name, and then click the Type menu, the following two options are available:

• Microsoft OLE DB driver for SQL Server (MSOLEDBSQL)
• Microsoft OLE DB driver for SQL Server (MSOLEDBSQL19)
