Updating a data distribution group

About this task

You can add, remove, and order data distribution files and change the description of the data distribution group.

Select and expand the library server.
Select and expand Data Distribution.
Select File Groups.
In the Name list, right-click the distribution group that you want to update.
From the pop-up menu, select Update to open the Update a File Group window.
In the Information field, optionally update descriptive information about the data distribution group.
In the Data Distribution Files area, add, remove, and order data distribution files. The order that the data distribution files are listed determines the order they are processed by Content Manager OnDemand.
- To add a data distribution file, select the name of the data distribution file in the Selection list and click Add.
- To change the order of a data distribution file, select the name of the data distribution file in the Order list. Hold the left mouse button down. Point to the place in the list where you want to insert the data distribution file. Release the left mouse button.
- To remove a data distribution file, select the name of the data distribution file in the Order list and click Remove.
When you have finished making changes, click OK to save the data distribution group in the database. Click Cancel to close the Update a File Group window without saving your changes.
