Field information for decimal fields

The following field information choices are available only for decimal, DecFloat(16), and DecFloat(34) fields:

Decimal Places

For decimal, DecFloat(16), and DecFloat(34) fields, specifies the number of digits to the right of the decimal point. The default value is 2 (two). The maximum value is 15 (fifteen). For decimal fields that contain money values, you can specify 2 (two) digits. The Decimal Places field can hold a maximum value of two characters.
