Database field information

The Database Field Information page is where you maintain a transaction field using the report wizard. A transaction field requires two database fields, two hit list folder fields, and one query folder field. The database fields contain the beginning and ending value for each group of indexed pages. The hit list folder fields show the results of a query. The query folder field contains the search value specified by the user. Define the database fields by naming the fields and specifying the properties of the fields. Define the folder fields by naming the fields.

Discard any changes and close the Field window.
