Defining the logical view page header

Follow these steps to define the logical view page header:

Procedure

  1. Make sure that the report window is in line mode. Click the Line and Field Selection Mode icon on the toolbar. Note the mode displayed on the status bar.
  2. Point to the first line you want to include as part of the page header. The page header is usually in the top margin of every page of the report. The page header usually contains the report title, date that the report was generated, and the page number.
  3. Click and hold the left mouse button.
  4. Drag the mouse to select additional lines you want to include as part of the page header.
  5. Release the mouse button.
  6. Click the Define Page Header Rows icon on the toolbar to open the Add Page Header window.
  7. Verify the Start Record, End Record, and Number of Records.
  8. Click OK to define the logical view page header.

What to do next

Click Cancel to close the Page Header window without defining the page header.
