Data types (Report wizard)

The Report wizard allows you to create an application group, application, and folder using sample report data and prompting you for information about the report.

An XML data type and indexer are available as application definitions when you use the report wizard. There are no View Information parameters, Logical View Fields, Logical Views, or Image Overlays associated with the data type. For the XML indexer, there are no indexer parameters. The default Data Compression is Disable and Resource Compression is not applicable.

When you select XML as the indexer, the data type is set to XML. The process for defining applications, application groups, and folders is the same process used for the generic indexer.
