Deleting a group
About this task
Note: Deleting a group does not remove the users in the group from Content Manager OnDemand. After you delete a group, the users in the group do not keep the group's application group or folder permissions. For example, suppose you create a group and assign the group access to a specific set of folders and application groups. You then place several users in the group. After placing the users in the group, the users can automatically open the folders and query the application groups. You then delete the group. After deleting the group, the users can no longer open the folders or query the application groups.
The logon user must be a system administrator or group owner to delete a group.
