Select header and fields

The select header, and fields window provides a central places to review, display, and maintain the logical view page and field heading information, the validation string, and logical view fields.

Here are available window options:

Header

Lists the field header, page header, and validation string defined for the report. To highlight the location of a header or the validation string in the report, click the item in the Header list.

Fields

A list of the logical view fields defined for the report. To highlight the location of a field in the report, click the field name in the Fields list.

Here are available commands:

Delete

Delete the selected field header, page header, validation string, or logical view field. Opens the Delete window. Choose OK to delete the selection. To delete the validation string, you must first delete the page header.

Properties

Maintain the selected field header, page header, validation string, or logical view field. Opens the Update window. See the Add/Update/Delete field header, page header, validation string, and logical view field dialog boxes for details.
