Fixed (RECFM)

The input data contains records that are all the same length. The size of the records (in bytes) cannot vary.

Note: RECFM=FIXED is not supported on IBM® i for applications that store data. Some applications migrated from Spool File Archive might have RECFM=FIXED, but those applications are used only for viewing migrated Spool File Archive data.
