Data distribution files

The data distribution file window is where you maintain data distribution files. A distribution file determines part or all of a data distribution image. A data distribution file can identify queries used to retrieve documents from the library server, the users and groups that can log on to the local server and access documents stored in the data distribution image, client program files, user-defined files, and customized font mapping files included in the data distribution image, and the label template file, merge file, and merge data ( merge fields and merge field variables) used to print a label on the data distribution media.
