Starting the Content Manager OnDemand client

You can start the OnDemand Client from your desktop, the start menu, or the Run dialog box.

About this task

Important: Your system might be configured to start the OnDemand Client automatically. For example, some customers configure Content Manager OnDemand so that when a user starts the system the client opens the Logon to a Server window. If your system is set up this way, skip this topic and go to Logging on to a server.

You can start the OnDemand Client in one of three ways:

To start the client using: Do this:
Your desktop
  1. Find the OnDemand Client icon on your desktop.
  2. Double-click the icon.

The Windows Start menu Select Start > IBM OnDemand Clients Vx.y > OnDemand Client Vx.y where x.y is the version and release of the client you are running.

  1. In the Type here to search field, enter the full path to the OnDemand Client program. For example, C:\Program Files\IBM\OnDemand Clients\Vx.y\bin\arsgui.exe where x.y is the version and release of the client you are running.
  2. Click OK.
