Prerequisites for working with Content Manager OnDemand

Before starting the OnDemand Client and working with documents, the following is recommended:

• Familiarize yourself with your operating system and using a pointing device. If you prefer to keep your hands on the keyboard when working, review the Content Manager OnDemand Keyboard Guide.
• Familiarize yourself with the OnDemand Client workspace. When you start the OnDemand Client, the main window appears. The main window is where you open folders, search for documents, and work with documents.
• Install the OnDemand Client. For more information about hardware and software requirements and installing the OnDemand Client, see the User's Guide.
• Review the procedures listed in How Do I?
• Find the name of your Server, your User ID, and your Password.
• Find the name of the folder that contains the documents you need.
• Locate the OnDemand Client icon on your desktop. For more information, see Starting the OnDemand Client.
