Logical view field
Use this window to define a logical view field.
Here are available options:
- Field Name
- The name of the logical view field. Type a descriptive string, up to thirty characters in length, including embedded blanks. Note: If you plan to use the Expression Find function, then blank characters are not permitted in the field name.
- Field#
- Content Manager OnDemand assigns a field number to each logical view field that you define. You can specify the numbers to determine the order in which the fields appear in a logical view.
- Appl Group DB Name
- A list of application group database field names. You can link the logical view field to an application group field. Doing so permits Content Manager OnDemand to locate lines in the report that match search criteria specified by the user for that field.
- Start Column
- The starting column number of the field you selected in the report.
- End Column
- The ending column number of the field you selected in the report.
- Reference String
- The field you selected in the report.
