Annotations
In the Authority group, specify which types of annotations (referred to as "notes" in the Content Manager OnDemand client) can be added by a user. This selection applies to all users with authority to add annotations in the system.
- Allow Public
- Allows the user to add public annotations. Public annotations to a document can be viewed by anyone who opens that document.
- Allow Private to User
- Allows the user to add private annotations to a document, and those annotations can be viewed only by the user that created the note, application group administrators, and system administrators.
- Allow Private to Group
- Allows the user to add annotations to a document, and those annotations can be viewed only by a specific group of users.
In the Default Annotation Type group, specify the default viewing scope for all annotations.
- Public
- Annotations to a document created by a user can be viewed by anyone who opens that document.
- Private to User
- Annotations to a document created by a user can be viewed only
by the following users:
- the user that created the note
- application group administrators
- system administrators
- Private to Group
- Annotations to a document created by a user can be viewed only by a specific group of users.
In the Life Of Annotations group, specify the number of days Content Manager OnDemand keeps annotations.
- Never Expire
- Content Manager OnDemand does not remove annotations.
- Expire After ___ Days
- Content Manager OnDemand removes annotations after the specified number of days.
