ARS_ORIGINAL_CODEPAGE parameter

This parameter specifies the code page of the Content Manager OnDemand database and is mandatory.

For any instances that were created before server version 8.5.0.5, the value for the ARS_ORIGINAL_CODEPAGE parameter will be set to the language CCSID of the instance. For instances created at server version 8.5.0.5 or after, the ARS_ORIGINAL_CODEPAGE parameter will be set to 0 (zero). Do not change or remove the ARS_ORIGINAL_CODEPAGE entry from the ARS.CFG file for any reason. If the entry is changed or removed, unexpected results will occur.
