Explanation

An unexpected return code was received from the z/OS Lock Manager when attempting to release a lock.

At the time of ABEND registers are loaded as follows:

  • R0 Indicates which lock was being manipulated:
    1. Local
    2. CMS
  • R14 Contains the Lock Manager Return code.
