Defining a new hold through the OnDemand Client
To define a new hold, you create a name to identify the hold from a list of documents.

Procedure
Do the following steps
- Start the OnDemand Client by clicking .
- Log in to your Content Manager OnDemand server.
- Search for the documents you want to hold.
- In the Search Criteria and Document List window, select all the documents you want to hold.
- Right click the highlighted documents.
- Click Apply Hold for All Selected.
- In the Apply a Hold to a Document(s) window, click Create New Hold.
- In the Create New Hold window, type in the name of the hold in the Name field and type in a description of the hold in the Description field.
- Click Create.
- Click Apply.
