Data distribution file commands
- Add
- Add an item to the selected section. For example, to add a user, select Users in the File Sections list and click Add to open the Add a User window with a list of users defined on the library server.
- Remove
- Remove the selected item from the selected section. For example, to remove a user, expand Users in the File Sections. Select the userid that you want to remove. Click Remove.
- Properties
- Display information about and make changes to the selected item. For example, to display the properties of a user, expand Users in the File Sections. Select the userid. Click Properties.
- Add/Update/View Distribution File
- OK
- Commit changes to the database and close the File window.
- Cancel
- Close the File window and do not save changes.
- Help
- Open the online help for the File window.
- Update
- If you are viewing a distribution file and have the required authority, click Update to switch from viewing the distribution file to updating the distribution file.
