Manually modify indexing parameters
Use to type indexing parameters into an edit window.
This option only applies when the indexer is ACIF, 390, 400, or PDF.
Read parameters from a file
Use to import a file that contains indexing parameters. From the Open window, type the name or drive and full path name of a file that contains the indexing parameters in the File name field or select a name from the list. Then choose Open. Content Manager OnDemand places the contents of the file into an edit window. You can modify the indexing parameters that were read from the file.
This option only applies when the indexer is ACIF, 390, 400, or PDF.
Modify with sample data
For ACIF, 390, 400, and PDF indexers, use to process sample data with the graphical indexer. On Multiplatforms and z/OS servers, from the Open window, type the name or drive and full path name of a file on the workstation that contains the sample data in the File name field or select a name from the list. Then click Open. On an IBM® i server, from the Select File dialog, open a file on the workstation or transfer a spooled file from the server to the workstation.
