Application group permissions options

Application Group
Determines the type of application group functions that users can perform. Choose from Access, Logical Views, and Administrator.
Document
Determines the type of functions that users can perform with the documents that they retrieve from the application group.
Annotation
Determines the types of annotation functions that users can perform.
Query Restriction
Limits access to application group data. The query restriction can be added or modified by typing the query restriction into the edit field. The Keyboard option or Build SQL option can also be used by clicking on the Modify button. See Query restriction for more information.
Keyboard
Click the Modify button to open the Edit Query Restrictions window. Type the SQL query string into the edit window. Close the window to save the query restriction.
Build SQL
Click the Modify button to open the Define Query Restriction window. Select fields and symbols to create the SQL query string. Click the OK button to save the query restriction.
Users/Groups
A list of the users and groups that do not have permission to the application group. To add a user or group to the application group, first select the user or group name in the Users/Groups list. Next, specify the permissions. Then click Add.
Selected
A list of the users and groups that have application group permissions. The *PUBLIC name determines the permissions for users and groups not given specific permissions.
