Notes window
You use the Notes window to perform all operations on notes.
When a note or comment has been saved with a document and you select View Notes from the Notes menu or you choose the toolbar button, the Notes window appears. The Notes window lists the most recent note at the top of the window.
Commands
- OK
- Use to close the Notes window and return to the document you are viewing.
- Add Note
- Use to add a note or comment to the document you are viewing. When you select Add Note, the Add a Note window appears. You need permission to add notes. If the Add Notes command is grayed out, you do not have permission to add notes. Contact your Content Manager OnDemand administrator if you need to add notes.
- Delete Notes
- Use to delete a note or comment associated with the document you are viewing. When you select Delete Note, the Delete a Note window appears. You need permission to delete notes. If the Delete Notes command button is grayed out when you access the Notes window, you do not have permission to delete notes. Contact your Content Manager OnDemand administrator if you need to delete notes.
- Sort Notes
- Use to sort the notes associated with the document you are viewing. When you select Sort Notes, the Sort Notes window appears.
- Print Note
- Use print the note you are viewing. When you select Print Note, the Print window appears.
- Print All Notes
- Use to print all the notes you are viewing. When you select Print All Notes, the Print window appears.
- Copy
- Use to copy a highlighted note or comment to the clipboard. You need permission to copy notes. If the Copy command button is grayed out when you access the Notes window, you do not have permission to copy notes. Contact your Content Manager OnDemand administrator if you need to copy notes.
- Find
- Use to search for a text string in the note or comment you are viewing. When you select Find, the Find window appears.
- Find Previous
- Use to repeat the last find operation, starting with the previous note.
- Find Next
- Use to repeat the last find operation, starting with the next note.
- Help
- Use to display help for the Notes window.
