Disk storage manager

The Disk Storage Manager (DSM, which is initiated by using the Start Disk Storage Management (STRDSMOND) command) maintains documents in cache (on disk, not in a disk pool). Documents migrate from disk storage to archive storage based on the storage management settings that are specified in the application group definition. The disk storage manager can delete documents if the Life of Data and Indexes is reached, as specified in the application group definition. See Removing documents for more information.
