Adding a secondary storage node

Content Manager OnDemand no longer supports adding secondary storage nodes when you create a storage set. When updating a storage set, secondary storage nodes can only be created if the storage set already contains one or more secondary storage nodes. If you need to maintain a backup copy of data in archive storage, then IBM recommends that you configure your archive storage manager to do so.

Procedure

  1. In the Storage Set window, clear the Primary Node checkbox.
  2. Click Add to open the Add a Secondary Node window.
  3. Make selections and type information in the Add a Secondary Node window to define a secondary storage node. Secondary node window options provides details.
  4. When you have finished configuring the secondary storage node, click OK in the Add a Secondary Node window. Content Manager OnDemand lists the secondary storage node in the Storage Set window.
