Adding a storage set

IBM i only: Add, Update, and Delete operations
for storage sets have been disabled on IBM® i servers. A storage set
is created, updated, and deleted as the result of actions performed
on the migration policy in IBM Navigator for i. The storage set name
is the same as the migration policy name.
The logon user must be a system administrator to add a storage set.
Procedure
- Select and expand the library server.
- Point to Storage Sets and click the right mouse button.
- From the pop-up menu, select New Storage Set to open the Add a Storage Set window.
- Type the name that identifies the storage set to Content Manager OnDemand in the Name field.
- Optionally type up to 120 bytes of descriptive information in the Description field.
- Select the Load Type of the storage set. Choose from Fixed or Local.
- Add at least one primary storage node. See Adding a primary storage node for more information.
- After you define storage nodes and verify other properties of the storage set, click OK in the Add a Storage Set window. Content Manager OnDemand updates the database, saves the information in the System Log, and closes the Add a Storage Set window. Click Cancel to close the Add a Storage Set window without adding the storage set.
