Creating a Task Mining Project
You create a task mining (TM) project on the Home page of TM Web. You can create a Linked or a Standalone Task Mining project based on your requirement.

Creating a Linked Task Mining Project
In a Linked TM project, you link a Process Mining (PM) project with the TM project you create. The Linked TM project helps you to compare and correlate the business process discovered using IBM Process Mining and the business activities captured using TM Agent.
You use the following steps to create a linked Task Mining Project:

Type the name of the project in the Task mining project name field
Important: You can type only 64 characters in the Task mining project name field.{:note: .note}

Select the organization of your tenant in the Organization field
- Select the Process Mining project linked to the selected Task Mining project from the dropdown in the Linked project field

You can enable Obfuscation & Anonymization by switching the Enable Obfuscation & Anonymization field to Yes
Important: You configure Obfuscation & Anonymization of the screenshots and the extracted data before creating a task mining project.{:note: .note}

Creating a Standalone Task Mining Project
In a Standalone TM Project, you create a TM project that is not linked to any PM project.

Type the name of the project in the Task mining project name field
Important: You can type only 64 characters in the Task mining project name field.{:note: .note}

Select the organization of your tenant in the Organization field

Enable the Standalone TM project by switching the Standalone task mining project field to Yes
Important: By default, the Standalone task mining project field is set to No.{:note: .note}

Enable Obfuscation & Anonymization by selecting 'Yes' in the Enable Obfuscation & Anonymization field (optional)
Important: You configure Obfuscation & Anonymization of the screenshots and the extracted data before creating a task mining project.{:note: .note}

Open or Delete a Task Mining Project
You can open an available Task Mining project from the home page either from the recent projects or by searching the project among all projects.

You can delete the project by clicking Delete as shown in the next image.
