Calculated fields

Last login date

The last login date is based on the lastLogin value returned from the get_users_on_site API call. If this field is empty or not provided then the date is set to null.

Activity status

The last login date is used to determine when the user was last active; see Last login date .

If there is no last login date, then the user is marked as inactive.

Purchased license count

This value is set manually.

Used license count

The used license count is based on the number of users found with licenses assigned.

Connect to Tableau

Before you can integrate Tableau with Cloudability SaaS , you must have the following:

A Tableau account subscription.

The Tableau account must have the Site Administrator role.

A personal access token (PAT) generated from your Tableau account.

For more information, refer to https://help.tableau.com/current/pro/desktop/en-us/useracct.htm#create-and-revoke-personal-access-tokens .

Steps to connect

Connect Tableau to Cloudability SaaS .

Find the Tableau tile and select Connect .

Enter the following information:

Pod : Your Tableau pod name. Your pod is shown in the first portion of the site URL after signing in. For example, if the URL is https://cloudability-saas.online.tableau.com/ , enter only the subdomain cloudability-saas .

Site : The URL you use to access Tableau.

PAT Name : Your personal access token name.

PAT : Your personal access token.

Select Continue .

Confirm success

Use the wording below as a guide when describing a single connector. For example, a single application connected using an API connection.

Confirm that Tableau has been integrated with Cloudability SaaS correctly.

Confirm that the Cloudability SaaS Dashboard displays the Tableau tile under Your Connected Applications .
