Cloudability Re-validate, archive, or delete credentials

The information below walks you through basic maintenance tasks for your credentials in Cloudability.

Re-validate a credential

If you want to manually recheck your credential, you can follow the steps below.

This will check the vendor connection to make sure all permissions are currently available and will also update any account name changes.
  1. From the left navigation menu, navigate to Settings > Vendor Credentials .
    Note:

    Vendor Credentials page requires admin permissions to access.

  2. Find the account you want to recheck.
  3. Hover your cursor over the icon.
  4. Click the circular arrow icon to recheck the vendor permissions.

    Note:

    Clicking the circular arrow icon will start the validation check and a spinning icon will appear. Once it has completed, it will show a checkmark for success.

Archive a credential

Archiving a credential will delete the vendor link we have but maintain the historical data which has already been collected. This is a good practice when accounts have been decommissioned.
  1. From the left navigation menu, navigate to Settings > Vendor Credentials .
  2. Click Vendor Credentials .
    Note:

    The Vendor Credentials page requires admin permissions to access.

  3. Find the account you want to archive.
  4. Hover your cursor over the icon.
  5. To archive the account, select the folder icon and select Confirm when prompted .
    Note:

    Once archived, the account cannot be reverted back or un-archived. You'll need to delete the account and re-credential it.

Delete a credential

If you want to Stop Ingesting data, , you can follow the steps below to delete your cred.
  1. From the left navigation menu, click Settings .
  2. Click Vendor Credentials .
    Note:

    The Vendor Credentials page requires admin permissions to access.

  3. Find the account you want to delete.
  4. Hover your cursor over the icon.
  5. To delete the account, select the trashcan icon and select Confirm when prompted.

This action deletes your account and no new data will be ingested.

If you delete a payer account, you delete all the linked or child accounts as well.

If you delete a linked or child account, you only delete the selected account.
