Note:

Features including Plans, Cost Sharing, and Data Tracking do not integrate between environments; there is no relationship between the respective features in the management org and end consumer environments. Additionally, each environment has its own multi-currency service that must be configured independently from those of other environments.

*Containers must be provisioned separately in each environment (data does not flow from the management org environment to those of end consumers). For rerated end consumers, specifically, Container Cost Allocation is available with the Cash cost basis (which reflects list cost).

**Rightsizing for rerated end consumers will use list cost for recommendations and treat lease type for all resources as “on-demand” because we hide the raw value of lease type from these end consumers to protect underlying management org pricing.

To prevent visibility into raw management org costs, rerated end consumers see blank values for the following dimensions in their environments:

  • Cost Adjustment Description
  • Lease Type
  • Item Description (this is adjustable, please see Setting Up Hidden Measures)
  • Commitment Owner Account ID
Note:

End consumers will receive their own Organize features so any such settings you create in your own management org environment will not be passed to them. They can start to build from a clean slate based on their own unique organizational needs. While any Cloudability tags, business mappings, account groups, and views you have created will be erased in end consumer environments, raw vendor tags will pass through allowing end consumers to use them when creating their own mappings. They will only see raw tags and values for resources to which they have access (e.g., associated with the accounts assigned to them by their management org).
