Use the following role-based checklists to get started quickly with Z Open Automation Utilities. For detailed installation and configuration steps, see Installing and Configuring ZOAU.

Checklist for Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform Administrators

Ensure that the following required and desired optional items are installed:

1. Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform 4.9+

2. Cloud Broker 2.1+ operator and instance

3. z/OS Package Manager operator and instance

4. Optional: IBM C/C++ for Open Enterprise Languages on z/OS 1.0 operator and instance

5. Optional: Open Enterprise Python 3.10 operator and instance

Checklist for z/OS Developers

1. After the installation, SSH into the endpoint.

2. Prior to use, follow the instructions described in Configuring ZOAU.
