Red Hat Ansible for IBM z/OS Cloud Broker

Support for Red Hat® Ansible is introduced in IBM® z/OS® Cloud Broker 2.1. This support allows you to use a single control plane, Red Hat® OpenShift® Container Platform, to both provision and statefully manage resources that are defined in an Ansible collection.

Operator collections for z/OS Cloud Broker

z/OS Cloud Broker supports Ansible by converting Ansible collections that conform with the operator collection specification into operators. An Ansible collection that conforms with the operator collection specification is called an operator collection.

You can import an operator collection into an instance of z/OS Cloud Broker. After you import an operator collection, z/OS Cloud Broker creates an operator for each resource that is defined in the operator collection. The operators allow application developers to self-provision the z/OS resources that are defined in the operator collection. The operators also allow the z/OS resources to be statefully managed.

You can access IBM-provided operator collections on Ansible Galaxy.
