This section provides all the details to install and validate, uninstall, and upgrade your installation.

What's new for the Installer
The installer version sections are listed based on when the installer was released, from the newest to the oldest release.
Installer version 4.6
- Support for OpenShift 4.18: From foundational services version 4.6.10, you can install foundational services on OpenShift version 4.18. For more information, see Supported OpenShift and Kubernetes versions.
- Support for OpenShift 4.17: From foundational services version 4.6.7, you can install foundational services on OpenShift version 4.17. For more information, see Supported OpenShift and Kubernetes versions.
- Removing MongoDB: From foundational services version 4.6, MongoDB is removed and replaced by EDB PostgreSQL database.
- Support for huge page configuration: foundational services version 4.6 supports huge page configuration. For more information, see Huge pages settings.
- Update of network policies and support for Egress network policies
- OpenShift 4.15: Support for OpenShift 4.15 is added. For more information, see Supported OpenShift and Kubernetes versions.

version 4.6.8, the MustGather tool includes the
cnpplug-in and collects the EDB MustGather in theoverview/edbpostgresdirectory as default after you extract the archive.
