Usage Metering Service

IBM products can integrate with Usage Metering Service (UMS) that is used to capture two types of product usage metrics: contractual metrics for compliance purposes, and adoption metrics for various scenarios related to usage analysis.

Thanks to this integration, you can:

• Obtain a report of usage of contractual metrics in the form of the audit snapshot. For more information, see Obtaining the audit snapshot.
• Get a multi-clutser visibility of metric usage in License Service Reporter. To use this feature, a one-time setup is required. For more information, see Configuring a connection to License Service Reporter.
• Get adoption usage reported by enabled products with Usage Metering Service REST API.
