Uninstalling foundational services version 3.x

After you upgrade to IBM Security QRadar® Suite Software version 1.11, you can uninstall IBM Cloud Pak® foundational services version 3.x if it is no longer needed.

About this task

When you upgrade to QRadar Suite Software version 1.11.0, the foundational services are upgraded from version 3.x to version 4.x.
Important: If you have only one Cloud Pak on your cluster, or if no other Cloud Pak on your cluster requires foundational services version 3.x, you can uninstall foundational services version 3.x

Procedure

  1. Delete the foundational services version 3.x namespace by using the following command. 
    oc exec -it deploy/cp-serviceability -- delns --token $(oc whoami -t) <common service ns>
  2. Uninstall the remaining foundational services version 3.x components in the control namespace. For more information, see Uninstalling the remaining resources after migrating to foundational services version 4.x.
