Planning for an environment with multiple IBM Cloud Paks or multiple instances of QRadar Suite Software
You can install multiple IBM Cloud® Paks on your cluster, or multiple instances of QRadar Suite Software. Ensure that you consider the requirements for each IBM Cloud Pak® that you plan to install.
The IBM Cloud Paks documentation includes information on planning and preparing for an environment with multiple IBM Cloud Paks. For more information, see Planning a multi-IBM Cloud Pak environment.
As you plan your environment, you must consider the following factors:
- The hardware that you need for each IBM Cloud Pak that you plan to install. Your plan should include the number of master and worker nodes, and the allocation of vCPU, memory, and storage on each of the nodes in the cluster.
- The storage that is supported by the IBM Cloud Paks that you plan to install.
- The common version of Red Hat® OpenShift® Container Platform that is supported by the IBM Cloud Paks that you plan to install.
- The licensing requirements and security recommendations for each IBM Cloud Pak.
- Each distinct instance of QRadar Suite Software
needs its own domain and certificates. For more information, see Domain names and TLS certificates. Important: Only one instance can use the Red Hat OpenShift cluster certificate.
