Working with IBM Security QRadar Suite Software

IBM Security QRadar® Suite Software offers solutions that integrate security applications, services, customizable extensions, dashboards, and news feeds. IBM Security QRadar Suite Software assists an IT or security user to do a job from start to finish and get the security outcomes that their organization needs.

Console

Integrated services, applications, and solutions help your teams to simply and effectively work together in one console. Applications from any source, can be integrated by design to work together in larger solutions. Access is through a common interface for complete management of your security program and operations.

Sign in to the console to complete any of these tasks:

  1. Use a dashboard to view and monitor threat statistics and activities.
  2. Add and manage other users.
  3. Connect your data sources to use them across the platform.
  4. Use Data Explorer to run a query across connected data sources.
  5. File and manage a case to collect information and collaborate with your peers.
  6. From My applications, view and access the applications that you are entitled to use.

Applications

Applications consist of packaged workflows and data that an IT or security user uses to solve a discrete user problem or to efficiently complete their task or job. Applications are the building blocks of solutions.

IBM or third-party vendors can build applications in the platform.

Dashboard

A dashboard is a user interface component that provides a summary of data that is integrated from different data sources.

Solutions

Solutions consist of packaged applications, workflows, and data that an IT or security users or teams can use to fully understand and address a problem or market need. A user or team can use various platform and application capabilities to view, enrich, and share information.

IBM or third-party vendors can build solutions in the platform.

Extensions

Extensions are add-ons that extend and enhance the capabilities of applications and services, for example, data source connectors.
