Removing an identity provider from QRadar Suite Software

You can remove an identity provider that is configured for IBM Security QRadar® Suite Software. To remove an LDAP connection, you need the credentials for IBM Cloud Pak® foundational services.

Before you begin

Read the information in Users and accounts.

You must be working in System Administration account and have the required permissions to manage users in multiple accounts.

About this task

To disable ROKS authentication in QRadar Suite Software, you must have the appropriate permission to reinstall or upgrade QRadar Suite Software. For more information, see Installation.

Procedure

  1. In QRadar Suite Software complete the following steps.
    1. From all accounts, remove any users that belong only to the identity provider that you want to remove from QRadar Suite Software.
    2. From all accounts, remove the identity provider that you want to remove from QRadar Suite Software.
  2. To disconnect an LDAP directory, log on to the IBM Cloud Pak foundational services console and complete the following steps.
    1. Click Manage identity providers.
    2. On the identity providers page, select the Delete action for the identity provider that you want to remove from QRadar Suite Software.
