Automating deployment of SD-WANs in the Wired portal

Use the IBM® Cloud Pak for Network Automation Wired portal to automate the deployment of SD-WANs so that your branch offices can connect to your cloud environment. You can use the portal to onboard cloud accounts, create VPCs and virtual networks (VNets), configure connections to SD-WAN controllers, and view the connection statuses of your cloud services.

Use the Wired portal to set up the automation of the following SD-WAN deployment tasks:

• Deploy AWS and Azure public cloud services. You can onboard cloud accounts quickly and easily.
• Configure the connection from AWS and Azure services to the SD-WAN controller. You can create primary and secondary VPCs and virtual networks (VNets). The gateway VPCs or VNets that cloud instances must connect to are set up.
• Configure SD-WAN controllers. You can configure the Cisco Viptela or the VMware VeloCloud controller. You can configure the SD-WAN to connect branch offices to your cloud environment.
• For AWS, configure the routes of the traffic between regions.
