Recovering from a failed IBM Cloud Pak for Network Automation upgrade

To recover from a failed upgrade, you reinstall the previous software version and restore your most recent backup.

Procedure

  1. Uninstall IBM® Cloud Pak for Network Automation from the cluster. For more information about how to uninstall the IBM Cloud Pak®, see Uninstalling a single-cluster configuration of IBM Cloud Pak for Network Automation.
  2. Reinstall the previous version of IBM Cloud Pak for Network Automation on the cluster. For more information about how to install the IBM Cloud Pak, see Installing.
  3. Restore the backed up data. For more information, see Restoring a backup.
  4. Restart IBM Cloud Pak for Network Automation, as described in Restarting IBM Cloud Pak for Network Automation by using the CLI and Restarting IBM Cloud Pak for Network Automation by using the console.
