Viewing assembly instances
View detailed information about assembly instances. You use assembly instances to deploy services to production in your network automation environment.
Procedure
- Log in to the IBM Cloud Pak® console. For more information about how to log in, see Logging in to the IBM Cloud Pak console.
- From the navigation menu , click Run > Assembly
instance. Alternatively, click the Search icon
to
search for an assembly instance. The list of assembly instances is sorted by name. Click the Refresh icon to refresh the list.
- You can view the details of the assembly instances. The following table lists the details
available.
Field Description State The state of the assembly instance, for example, Active
,Inactive
, orFailed
.Descriptor The assembly descriptor that the assembly instance is based on. Last Intent The last intent that was executed. Status The status of the last intent that was executed. Start Time The date and time that the execution of the last intent started. - To trigger a new lifecycle intent for the assembly instance, click New Intent, then click the intent that you want to trigger.
- To open the assembly descriptor on which the instance is based in the Designer tool, click the overflow menu then click Open Design. For more information about viewing, exploring, and designing new assembly descriptors, see Viewing and designing assembly descriptors.
- To view more details of an assembly instance, choose one of the following options:
Action Description View the topology of the assembly instance. Click Open. For more information about the topology of an instance, see Topology. View the details of the last intent and the execution steps for the intent. Click the overflow menu then click Open Execution. For more information about viewing these details of an intent, see Execution. View the history of the intents executed on the assembly instance. Click the overflow menu then click Execution History.
