Use deployment locations to specify where resources are deployed when the resources are
instantiated. Deployment locations are associated with a specific infrastructure type such as Red Hat®
OpenShift®, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, OpenStack, and
others. Deployment locations are also associated with the Brent resource manager, which manages
resources that are running on a specific infrastructure.
About this task
Complete this task to define new deployment locations to instantiate resources.The
deployment locations list is sorted by name. Click the Refresh icon to
refresh the list of deployment locations.
Procedure
- Log in to the IBM Cloud Pak® console. For more information about how to log in, see Logging in to the IBM Cloud Pak console.
- From the navigation menu ,
click .
- Click Add to add a deployment location in the orchestration
component.
You can also click the overflow menu
to edit or delete a deployment location. View, enter, or change content in the fields
described in
Table 1.
