Modifying deployment locations

Use deployment locations to specify where resources are deployed when the resources are instantiated. Deployment locations are associated with a specific infrastructure type such as Red Hat® OpenShift®, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, OpenStack, and others. Deployment locations are also associated with the Brent resource manager, which manages resources that are running on a specific infrastructure.

1. Log in to the IBM Cloud Pak® console. For more information about how to log in, see Logging in to the IBM Cloud Pak console.
2. From the navigation menu , click Define > Network deployment locations.
3. Click Add to add a deployment location in the orchestration component.
   You can also click the overflow menu to edit or delete a deployment location. View, enter, or change content in the fields described in Table 1.

   Table 1. Deployment locations UI elements

   Element	Description
   Deployment Location Name	Enter a name for the deployment location.
   Description (optional)	Enter a description.
   Infrastructure	Infrastructure type used at the deployment location, for example, Red Hat OpenShift, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, OpenStack, and others.
   Infrastructure-specific Properties	Properties in YAML or JSON format.
   Object group	The object group for the deployment location.

4. Click Save.
