Configuring tenant administrators

To administer tenants, users must have the Network Automation Tenant Admin role.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the IBM Cloud Pak® console with administrator permissions.
  2. From the navigation menu Navigation menu icon, click Administration > Access control.
  3. On the Users tab, click the user to whom you want to assign the Network Automation Tenant Admin role.
    Tip: To assign the Network Automation Tenant Admin role to a user group, click the user group on the User groups tab.
  4. Click Assign roles, then click the Network Automation Tenant Admin role.
  5. Click Assign 1 role to assign the Network Automation Tenant Admin role to the user.
  6. Log out of the IBM Cloud Pak console.

Results

The user with the Network Automation Tenant Admin role can now log in and access the Network automation tenants item in the Define menu, and can do all the tenant administration tasks.
